Alex Broder

Alex started studying martial arts at the age of 6 and has trained in many styles such as Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi (Yang style and Chen style), Wu Shu, Shuri-Ryu, and multiple lineages of Shaolin Kung Fu. For Alex, martial arts are more than just a way of staying physically fit or defending oneself, they are a way of life, helping to understand more about the self and the world around. Having recently received his black belt at the Portland Shaolin Center, Alex is looking forward to bringing his enthusiasm and insight into the conditioning classes he will be leading.
